International cooperation as a resource for university development

International cooperation is a key element in achieving and establishing the status of a world-class university. Today, the state pays special attention to international relations around the world. In December 2019, the State Program for the Development of Education and Science for 2020-2025 was adopted, which identified the internationalization of higher education institutions and their representation in the world rankings as key indicators of the effectiveness of higher education.
International cooperation is an integral part of the activities of the Syrdarіya University and an important tool in ensuring the quality of education and its compliance with international standards. The purpose of the development of international cooperation is to increase the international recognition of the university, to ensure the quality of education and research at the level of modern world requirements.
The main areas of international activity of the University:
• Internationalization and development of research and educational resources in accordance with global trends.
• cooperation within international agreements and memoranda;
• Presentation and organization of the University's achievements in science and education at international conferences, seminars, exhibitions, competitions
• Publication of research and development results in foreign journals.
• International mobility of students, faculty and university staff.
• Training, research supervision of foreign students and undergraduates;
• Involvement of foreign specialists, including as a top manager and guest lectures;
• International position of the university through participation in world rankings;
• Joint and / or double degree programs;

• Creating a multilingual and multicultural environment for international cooperation at the university and in the region.
 In the 2020-2021 academic year, Syrdarіya University has signed memoranda of international cooperation with universities near and far abroad.
