Important issues of the university were considered

A special meeting was held at the Faculty of Pedagogy and Natural Sciences of Tashenev University. At the meeting chaired by the vice-rector for social and educational work of the university, Galymzhan Bitursyn, a number of important issues related to education and educational work were discussed.
The meeting was attended by deans of faculties, heads of departments, group leaders, senior mentors and subject teachers. During the meeting, it was said that structured systems of self-government among students are a mechanism for the effective organization of teaching and learning, and the process of dividing first-year students into groups was differentiated. From among the active students, group leaders were approved and priorities for their involvement in intra-university organizational work were established.
It was clarified that the initiative to assign mentors from the experienced teachers category to student groups will help actively monitor student attendance. It was also said that such forms of managing groups of students have a positive effect on identifying current problems among students, identifying and solving problems associated with the hostel.
During the meeting, the rules of internal discipline were explained to first-year students and students who transferred to the university from other educational institutions. During the discussion of the university’s educational plan, it was announced that an intra-university competition “The Best Teacher” would be held, and it was also announced that a special plan of events would be adopted for the 25th anniversary of the creation of a higher educational institution. The meeting participants expressed additional proposals and opinions on the issues raised.
