Mazhitov Ulugbek Khalmatovich

He graduated from the Shymkent Music College in the class of "choral conducting" (1977), In 1982 from the Almaty National Conservatory named after Kurmangazy class of professor, Honored Artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aidarbekova Layla Adilkhanovna. From 1982 to 2004 he was a teacher in the specialty "choral conducting" at the South Kazakhstan Music College.
From 2004 to 2020, the director of the college.
Creative achievements:
- opened a new specialty "Singing with dombra".
- participation of collectives in international and republican competitions - pop and jazz Big Band (laureate of the Tashkent International Festival), folk dance ensemble "Shamsinur" (Laureate of the Turksoy International Festival); choir (laureate of International and Republican competitions) ;
- participation of other specialties in prestigious competitions in the international arena - : Badesh G.- accordion (Italy-1st place), K.Arystanov - guitar (Russia-1st place), I.Murin -guitar (France – Grand Prix),Temirbekoa A, -academic vocals (France -1st place), Tapiev N. -academic vocals (Italy-1st place) ;
- - member of the Organizing Committee of the ХХVI Republican Contest of Young Performers;
- member of the Organizing Committee of the International Festival "Menin Kazakstanym";
- organizer of concert activities in the city and the region, in orphanages, Homes for the disabled, Veterans' Homes, as well as with his team actively participated in all socio-political and cultural concert and festive events of the city and the region;
- organizer of regional competitions in various specialties among music schools;
-  organizer of regional workshops among teachers of music schools and college;
- organizer of scientific and practical conferences among teachers of the music school and college.
     Over the entire period, the pedagogical period has been repeatedly marked by Letters of thanks from the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Minister of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Vice Minister of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Maslikhat and Akims of South Kazakhstan and Shymkent.
     For many years of fruitful work in the upbringing of the younger generation, he was awarded the title of "Honorary Worker of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan", for a huge contribution to the development of culture of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Culture, Information and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan awarded the title "KR Madeniyet kayratkeri", as well as the name of Mazhitov U.X. entered in the "Golden Book of Kazakhstan".
