Open lesson “My University”

Master lecturer of the “English Language” Department, E.P. Arysbayeva, conducted an open lesson on the topic “My University” with group FK-24-1K9 as part of the Foreign Language course.
The open class was attended by the head of the department, faculty members, and representatives of the academic affairs office. The lesson was organized at a high methodological level, making effective use of interactive teaching methods. In particular, the use of the Kahoot quiz platform, pair and group work, role-playing activities, and visual aids contributed to a deeper understanding of the topic.
During the lesson, students expanded their vocabulary related to university life and appropriately used the Present Simple tense both orally and in writing. They composed sentences about their university, participated in dialogues, and demonstrated active engagement. The students showed high interest in the subject and a strong motivation to learn the English language.
Overall, the open lesson fully achieved its educational objectives and contributed to the development of students' language skills and communicative competence.
