Welcome to Conversation club

The long-awaited and dearly beloved Conversation Club has opened at Tashenev University, hosted by the «English language» Department! Thanks to the English Language Department, students were given a unique opportunity to express themselves in an intellectual discussion with the guest speaker of the event, Javans Ochieng, a native English speaker and teacher at Nazarbayev Intellectual School.
Students from the educational program 6B01703 –«Foreign languages (IP)» participated in a roundtable discussion on the topic «Professions of the Future». During the conversation, students actively discussed the prospects and advantages of their chosen professions, exchanged interesting ideas, and practiced expressing themselves fluently and correctly in English. However, what stood out most for the students was the debate format discussion, where they showcased their skills in arguing their points and listening to the arguments of their opponents.
The highlight of the event was an intellectual-themed game-show, where students competed for the first place, striving to showcase their talents and skills while maximizing their creativity. This was the first, but certainly not the last event organized by the Conversation Club and the English Language Department! Students can look forward to many more unforgettable moments and speaking events within the club.
