The third electronic library in the republic

Leader among electronic libraries of universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan

For 10 years, the electronic library of the Syrdariуa University has been one of the most popular in Kazakhstan. All 9300 electronic resources of the university are included in the fund of the Association of universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan. At the end of the outgoing 2021, our university ranks third in terms of the number of downloads of e-books. Electronic resources of "Syrdariуa" University have been downloaded more than 15 thousand times this year! Ahead of us are only the Turan University and the Almaty Technological University. This is evidenced by the RMEB statistics. The RMEB website (http://rmebrk.kz/statistics) displays detailed statistics on the use of all electronic resources of universities. All our 9300 resources are actively used by students and teachers not only of our university, but also other universities. The availability of our learning resources is ensured by the smooth operation of our web servers. Every month the fund of the university's electronic library is replenished with new electronic editions that are in demand in the educational process. The fund is formed by scanning books, and new multimedia electronic textbooks are being developed together with teachers. Since 2005, the university staff have developed 350 electronic textbooks that have copyright certificates.

Additional Information
At present, the total fund of the university's electronic library is 9310, of which 4813 are in Kazakh, 3902 are in Russian and 595 are in English.
All resources are classified according to educational programs, which are stored on the university's web server and are available online.
