A regular meeting of the Academic Committee dedicated to the discussion and evaluation of educational programmes was held at the Institute of World Languages. The meeting was attended by members of the academic staff, representatives of the institute administration, as well as employers — principals and deputy principals of partner schools.

The main purpose of the meeting was to improve the quality of educational programmes and ensure their compliance with modern labour market requirements. Together with the principals of School No. 14 named after Aibek Baibossynov — G.S. Baibossynova, and School-Gymnasium No. 25 named after T. Ryskulov — N. Nurlankyzy, the participants discussed the structure of curricula, the content of academic disciplines, the development of practice-oriented learning, and opportunities for expanding cooperation with partner schools.

Particular interest was generated by the discussion of the results of the employer survey. It was noted that the institute’s students received high scores for their strong theoretical background, well-developed teamwork skills, and excellent ability to communicate effectively with school students.

Special attention was paid to the opinions of employers. Representatives of partner schools shared their views on the professional competencies that graduates should possess and proposed recommendations for improving educational programmes. Their participation makes it possible to take into account the real needs of the sector and enhance the competitiveness of future specialists.

Following the meeting, recommendations were developed for the further improvement of educational programmes, strengthening students’ practical training, and expanding cooperation between the institute and employers.

Such meetings are an important part of the internal quality assurance system in education and contribute to the training of востребованных and highly qualified specialists.
