“Nauryz: Traditions and Cultural Values”.

Topic of the open lesson:

“Nauryz: Traditions and Cultural Values”.

During the open lesson, students learned about the traditions and cultural values of the Nauryz holiday. At the beginning of the lesson, a presentation about Nauryz and its significance was shown.

After that, students performed a national dance and recited poems dedicated to Nauryz. The traditional Kazakh ceremony “Tusau Kesu” was also demonstrated.

Students explained in English how to cook traditional baursaks. A quiz about Nauryz traditions was organized during the lesson.

Students also talked about the preparation and importance of Nauryz kozhe. At the end of the lesson, a song dedicated to Nauryz was performed.
