STRENGTHENING INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS: VISIT OF THE RENAISSANCE UNIVERSITY OF EDUCATION DELEGATION

From April 8 to April 12, 2024, a delegation of professors from the Renaissance University of Education (Tashkent, Uzbekistan) visited Jumabek Tashenev University. The visiting group included the Head of the Philology Department, Dr. M. Turdybekov, Professors L. Raupova and I. Islamov, and Senior Lecturer D. Khakimova.

The guests were welcomed by the Dean of the Philology Faculty, A. Mamyt, and the Head of the International Relations Department, Sh. Naralieva. The delegation was introduced to the university’s facilities, specialized classrooms, and the information resource center. Furthermore, a meeting was held with the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, P.T. Bayneeva, to discuss academic management and educational standards.

During the visit, the Rector of the University, K. Baibolov, officially received the delegation. The discussions focused on academic mobility for undergraduate and graduate programs, organizing guest lectures by prominent scholars, and implementing joint international practices. Following the productive negotiations, both parties agreed to sign memorandums of understanding and cooperation agreements.

In addition to administrative meetings, the visiting professors delivered a series of guest lectures to 1st and 2nd-year students of the Philology Faculty. Future cooperation will include the joint publication of textbooks and monographs, as well as the organization of international scientific conferences.
