On March 3, 2026, an  meeting was held at the Information and Educational Center of Tashenov University.

Faculty members of the 6B03201 – “Library Science” educational program and librarians discussed a draft memorandum of cooperation with the Shymkent City Special Library for the Blind and Visually Impaired. The meeting was attended by Akmaral Abdusatarovna Toksanbayeva, Head of the “Outreach Services” Sector of the library.

During the meeting, current issues in the field of inclusion were addressed, and mechanisms for providing high-quality and accessible information services to readers with special needs were analyzed.

The parties outlined specific areas for experience exchange, organization of joint events, development of professional internships, and promotion of volunteer activities, thereby laying a strong foundation for future cooperation.

In the near future, large-scale joint projects, workshops, internships, and socially significant initiatives are planned in collaboration with libraries.

By combining knowledge and practical experience, we aim to work together towards building an inclusive society — this is our main goal.
