«Abbreviations in Musical Notation»

On September 26, 2025, at 8:30 a.m., in Building 22-A on Gagarin Street, Room 210, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Art and Artistic Labor of the Faculty of Culture and Sports at Z.A. Tashenov University, Gulzada Askarovna Tumanova, conducted a practical open lesson on the subject “Musical Literacy” for first-year students of group PiK-25-4k1,2 on the topic “Abbreviations in Musical Notation.” All department lecturers and students attended the open lesson. During the class, the lecturer applied modern teaching methods and techniques, successfully engaging students’ interest and organizing several creative tasks. Comprehensive answers were received to all the questions posed, and the students demonstrated their acquired knowledge through their responses. They were also able to identify and analyze abbreviation marks in several short musical pieces. The lesson was conducted at a high methodological level and was very engaging. A wide range of visual materials was used. At the end of the lesson, the department lecturers carried out an evaluation and provided their professional feedback.
