A Lesson on “Computer Networks” Was Held

On December 7, 2023, Senior Lecturer Botagoz Izkhanova conducted an open lesson for group IEF-21-10k in the discipline “Computer Networks” on the topic “Automated Information Retrieval Systems on the Internet.” The purpose of the lesson was to deepen students’ knowledge of automated information retrieval systems on the Internet, their structure and operating principles, as well as to develop practical skills in effective information search and analysis.

During the lesson, the instructor provided a detailed explanation of the main types of search systems, search algorithms, indexing methods, and query processing techniques. Students completed practical exercises on using search systems, developing effective search strategies, and analyzing the results obtained. The theoretical material was reinforced with hands-on tasks, contributing to the development of students’ professional competencies.

The open lesson was conducted at a high organizational and methodological level. Students actively participated, completed practical tasks, and demonstrated their acquired knowledge. The content and structure of the lesson fully met the objectives and enhanced students’ interest in the discipline while strengthening their professional readiness.
