On November 17, 2023, Senior Lecturer Venera Nakhipova conducted an open lesson for group IEF-20-10k in the discipline “Repair and Maintenance of Computer Systems” on the topic “Processor Multicore Technology.” The purpose of the lesson was to deepen students’ knowledge of the structure and operating principles of multicore processors, understand their advantages and features, and develop practical skills in working with modern processor systems.

During the lesson, the instructor provided a detailed explanation of the main characteristics of multicore processors, the interconnection between cores and their operational efficiency, as well as methods for processing tasks in multicore systems. Students completed practical exercises to observe processor operation, evaluate performance, and apply processors in different scenarios. The theoretical material was reinforced with hands-on tasks, contributing to the development of students’ professional competencies.

The open lesson was conducted at a high organizational and methodological level. Students actively participated, completed practical tasks, and demonstrated their acquired knowledge.
