Department of Russian and Uzbek Languages

Dear students and young researchers!

The Institute of World Languages, Department of Russian and Uzbek Languages, in collaboration with the "Dustlik" Association of the UECO RK, the State Academy of Choreography of Uzbekistan, Andijan State Pedagogical Institute, the Nizami National Pedagogical University of Uzbekistan, and the Mirzo Ulugbek National University of Uzbekistan, invites students and young scholars from around the world to participate in the 2025 International Scientific Article Competition, aimed at developing research competencies, improving the level of academic writing, and supporting talented young people in the fields of philology, linguistics, and intercultural communication.

Competition Objectives

• stimulating the research activity of students and young scholars;

• developing academic writing and analytical thinking skills;

• identifying promising young researchers at the international level;

• fostering interest in Russian, Uzbek, and world languages;

• creating conditions for the publication of research papers in international collections and journals.

Competition Participants

We invite the following to participate:

• undergraduate and graduate students;

• graduate students and young scientists;

• individual authors and teams (up to 3 authors);

• participants from anywhere in the world.

Competition Topics

Articles may cover the following areas:

• Russian and Uzbek languages, philology;

• comparative linguistics;

• linguistics and digital communication;

• literary studies;

• translation studies and intercultural communication;

• modern methods of studying language and text;

• art history;

• interdisciplinary research;

• other areas, subject to agreement with the organizing committee.

Formation Requirements

• Article length: 5–7 pages;

• Format: MS Word;

• Font: Times New Roman, 14 pt;

• Line spacing: 1.5;

• Article structure:

o Title of the work;

o Abstract (50–70 words);

o Keywords (5–7);

o Introduction;

o Main body;

o Conclusions;

o Bibliography;

• Originality of the text: at least 70%;

• Articles are accepted in Kazakh, Russian, Uzbek, or English.

Competition Deadlines

• Submission deadline: December 15, 2025

• Review by the expert committee: December 16–18, 2025

• Results and award ceremony: December 20, 2025

Articles are accepted by email to:

"International Scientific Article Competition – 2025 / Author's Full Name"

The email must include:

• Last name, first name, and patronymic name of the author(s);

• Country, field of study, year/status;

• Title of the article;

• Contact information (phone, email).

Evaluation Criteria

• Relevance and scientific novelty of the topic;

• methodological correctness;

• depth of analysis and logical presentation;

• academic style and literacy of the text;

• compliance with the formal requirements of the competition.

Awards

Winners will be awarded:

• 1st, 2nd, and 3rd degree diplomas;

• the opportunity to publish articles in international collections and journals;

• certificates of participation;

• recommendations for participation in international scientific events.
