Master of Pedagogical Sciences, teacher N.M. Momynkul held an open lesson on "Natural Resources and Their Ecological Significance. Problems of Classification and Rational Use."

On November 20, 2025, an open lesson on "Natural Resources and Their Ecological Significance. Problems of Classification and Rational Use" was held in the "History of the Fatherland" classroom.

The open lesson was intended for first-year students majoring in 6B01514 - Geography (IS) and 6B01509 - Training of Geography and History Teachers. The main goal of the lesson was to develop students' responsibility for the protection of natural resources and their efficient use.

📝 Lesson Procedure

• Teacher N.M. Momynkul, Master of Science (Natural Sciences). The introductory part of the lesson focused on the modern classification of natural resources and their crucial role in human life.

• Students were able to demonstrate and reinforce their acquired knowledge by playing the "21st Century Leader" game using the "Power" app.

• The lesson was interactive: students were divided into three groups (Alternative Energy, Minerals, and Bioresources) using the "Team Piker Wheel" app, and each group created a poster based on the corresponding assignment. This allowed them to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Upon completion of the work, each group defended their proposals and engaged in a lively discussion.

• To consolidate their knowledge, they used the Learning.app app to consolidate their learning. They also completed a second reflection on ESD using the "Padlet" app.

• The open lesson utilized PowerPoint, CreateQR, Padlet, Team Piker Wheel, Learning.app, illustrative materials, and ICT.

This open lesson made a great contribution to the development of not only the students' theoretical knowledge, but also their practical skills and environmental awareness.
