An international conference dedicated to the 35th anniversary of G. Sugirbayeva’s scientific and pedagogical career was held at the Uzbekali Zhanibekov South Kazakhstan Pedagogical University

The Uzbekali Zhanibekov South Kazakhstan Pedagogical University hosted an international scientific-practical conference titled “The Multiethnic Composition of the People of Kazakhstan: History and Modernity”, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan and the 35th anniversary of the scientific and pedagogical activity of the lecturer and scholar Gulzhan Dauletbekovna Sugirbayeva.

The event was attended by public figures, representatives of government institutions, prominent scholars, academicians, and researchers from foreign universities.

The conference addressed the historical formation of the multiethnic composition of the people of Kazakhstan, its key stages, and current trends.
Scholars presented reports on interethnic harmony, social stability, spiritual development, and the culture of tolerance among youth.

Participants highlighted Gulzhan Sugirbayeva’s 35-year professional journey in education, highly appreciating her leadership in the university’s development and her contribution to strengthening international cooperation.
It was emphasized that, on her initiative, the university signed memorandums with leading universities around the world, enhancing academic collaboration.

In addition, it was noted that naming the university after Uzbekali Zhanibekov became an important milestone in the institution’s contribution to the processes of spiritual renewal.
