On October 14, 2025, a seminar titled “Artificial Intelligence and Moral Education” was held at the “Aq Üy” Student Youth Center of Tashenev University, organized by the Council of Veterans of the Abai District.
The event brought together representatives of the city veterans’ organization, university professors and students, as well as community leaders.

🤖 Artificial intelligence is a tool, while true intelligence is the human mind
Chairman of the Shymkent City Veterans’ Organization Kenzhekhan Tolebayev emphasized the importance of generational continuity and addressed the youth:

“Artificial intelligence is merely a tool. True intelligence lies in humanity, compassion, and responsibility. While mastering new technologies, young people must not forget national traditions and culture,” he said.


💡 Spiritual values and digital literacy complement each other
The seminar was moderated by Galymzhan Bitursyn, Member of the Board and Vice-Rector for Social Affairs and Youth Policy of Tashenev University, who noted:

“Artificial intelligence must serve humanity but should never replace spiritual values. The university’s mission is to nurture individuals who possess not only digital literacy but also strong moral and ethical foundations.”


📚 Key discussion points
During the seminar, participants discussed topics raised in the 2025 Address of the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, including the development of human capital and the integration of national upbringing with modern technologies.
Among the speakers were:
  • Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor, Academician of the National Academy of Agricultural Sciences Mukhanbetzhan Eskara;

  • Chairwoman of the Mothers’ Council under the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan in Shymkent, PhD, Associate Professor Gulzhan Sugirbayeva;

  • Candidate of Philological Sciences, Head of the Department of Kazakh Language and Literature Amangeldi Mamyt;

  • Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor Saparbek Sakhov;

  • Member of the Writers’ Union of Kazakhstan, Associate Professor Zyliha Zhantasova;

  • Chairwoman of the Shymkent branch of the Academy of National Values Abila Kozdibayeva;

  • Chairman of the Primary Veterans’ Organization of Yntymak Microdistrict, Abai District Adilbek Akmurzyn.

At the conclusion, participants emphasized the importance of nurturing both spiritual development and digital literacy among young people.
