Today, Tashenev University hosted a meeting with a distinguished international delegation from Uzbekistan, Türkiye, and India.
The delegation included:
  • international journalist and translator Asror Allayorov (Uzbekistan),

  • Dr. Mustafa Korkmaz (Niğde University, Türkiye),

  • Head of the Center for Persian and Central Asian Studies Ahlak Ahmad Ahan (Jawaharlal Nehru University, India),

  • Doctor of Philology and Professor Khulkar Khamidullayevna Khamraeva (Uzbek State Academy of Choreography).

The guests were warmly welcomed by the university’s rector, Kanat Baibolov. The parties discussed prospects for cooperation in science, education, and culture.

“Tashenev University is evolving into a modern higher education institution of international standing. We focus not only on improving the quality of education but also on establishing close partnerships with foreign institutions. Collaboration in language and culture is one of our top priorities,” said Rector Kanat Baibolov.

The Institute of World Languages, part of the university, is one of the leading language centers in the region. It has its own academic building where Kazakh, Uzbek, Russian, English, Turkish, Chinese, and Persian are taught. The programs help students not only master foreign languages but also gain a deeper understanding of the culture and traditions of the respective countries.

“Through language, we build mutual understanding and friendship between nations. Multilingual education is one of our university’s strategic directions,” the rector emphasized.

During the meeting, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between Tashenev University and Jawaharlal Nehru University (India).
The document outlines plans for joint scientific research, student and faculty exchanges, and collaborative educational projects.
Professor Ahlak Ahmad Ahan highlighted the importance of strengthening cultural and academic ties between Kazakhstan and India:

“Kazakhstan and India are united by deep historical and cultural bonds. I was truly impressed by the multilingual education system and the development strategy of Tashenev University. This partnership will open new opportunities,” he said.

At the end of the meeting, the delegation members were introduced to the university’s development and infrastructure modernization plans and received commemorative gifts.

The signing of the memorandum marks an important step in expanding Tashenev University’s international cooperation and enhancing its reputation in the global educational arena.
