Seminar “Advantages of Learning the German Language and Opportunities for Education in German-Speaking Countries”

An educational seminar was held in Shymkent with the participation of the Deputy President of the Association of Teachers of Germany, D.I. Makhazhanova, and a representative of the Goethe-Institut in Almaty.

The event aimed to expand students’ understanding of the importance of the German language in the modern educational and professional sphere, as well as to introduce them to academic and career opportunities connected with its study.

During the seminar, participants received detailed information about the advantages of learning German, its role in international communication and cultural exchange, and the opportunities to participate in academic programs, student exchanges, and educational projects at leading German universities.

Particular attention was given to the practical aspects of language acquisition and the application of linguistic skills in professional contexts, which significantly enhances students’ competitiveness in the international labor market. 

The seminar also included discussions on current issues of educational mobility, grant programs, internships, and participation in international projects.

The event fostered students’ interest in learning German, helped develop their skills for effective interaction with foreign educational institutions, and supported planning of their academic and professional paths in an international context.

Such events are part of a strategic effort to promote foreign languages, expand youth opportunities in the global educational environment, and strengthen international cooperation between educational institutions of Kazakhstan and Germany.
