TASHENEV UNIVERSITY: First-Year Students Received the Key of Knowledge and Student ID Cards

On September 3, Tashenev University hosted a solemn event dedicated to the Day of Knowledge and the beginning of the new academic year. This day became special for thousands of students as they took their first step into adulthood and officially became university students. The celebration was enriched by performances from the Shamsinur dance ensemble, the Bayan Sulu trio, and talented students. From the stage, congratulations were delivered, outstanding teachers and staff were honored, and the achievements of colleagues admitted to doctoral studies were recognized. The highlight of the event was the official ceremony of presenting student ID cards and the symbolic Key of Knowledge. The Chairman of the Board of the University, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, and Honorary Citizen of Turkestan Region, Onalbay Ayashev, addressed the students with warm words: “Today you are entering a new stage of life – becoming part of the large family of Tashenev University. Our university has always been and will remain a stronghold of knowledge, science, and spirituality. I am confident that each of you will find your path and achieve great success. We will always support your endeavors and stand by your side.” At the ceremonial gathering, teachers and staff who made significant contributions to the development of the university were recognized. 🎉 Among the awardees were: Akim Ayapov Serikbaevich, Director of the Department for Administrative Affairs, Makhabbat Aldanazarova Rakhmatullaevna, Academic Building Administrator, Birzhan Turebekov Anarbekovich, Head of the Department of “Theory and Methodology of Physical Education,” Lesbek Myrzabek Alipuly, Dean of the Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports, Darkhan Zhumabayev Zhienbayevich, Chief Engineer, Mereke Ismailova Erezhepkyzy, Director of the Coworking-Scientific Center, as well as members of the university’s Admissions Committee. These awards became a high recognition of the collective efforts of the staff. ✨ This year, 2,223 new students have been admitted to the university. Among them are 155 holders of state grants, as well as winners of the university’s internal grant “Tashenov’s Gift.” One of the grant holders, first-year student of the Foreign Language program Symbat Turlybek, shared her impressions: “Studying at Tashenev University is the fulfillment of a great dream for me. The ‘Tashenov’s Gift’ grant is not only financial support but also a huge responsibility. It strengthened my motivation to study and gave me confidence. My main goal is to live up to the trust of the university.” The celebration concluded with a performance of the song “Kók tudyń zhelbiregeni” by international competition laureate and X-Factor winner Astana Kargabay, which gave the event a special atmosphere. The holiday held on September 3 became a bright beginning for students entering a new stage of life, and for Tashenev University – yet another confirmation that it is a true center of knowledge and culture, science and creativity.
