📢 A New Academic Building of Tashenev University Opens in Shymkent A solemn opening ceremony of a new academic building of Tashenev University took place on Gani Ilyayev Street in Shymkent. This step marks an important milestone in the development of the university and the expansion of opportunities for students. The modern three-story facility is equipped with spacious and comfortable classrooms. The new building will exclusively host the Faculty of World Languages, where students study English, French, German, and other foreign languages. Currently, more than 1,500 students are enrolled at the faculty, with special attention given to training specialists in Kazakh studies. In the future, the university plans to expand bilingual and trilingual programs to promote the Kazakh language alongside global ones. The opening ceremony was attended by students, faculty, and public figures. The honor of cutting the red ribbon was granted to Vice-Rector Zhanar Rysbekova and Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Parida Baineeva. Chairman of the Board of Tashenev University, Onalbay Ayashev, emphasized that the university is opening not just a new building, but a space for knowledge, communication, and development. He underlined the importance of preparing future specialists in the field of languages in this very place. 💬 “Students will have the opportunity to study not only modern world languages but also through bilingual and trilingual programs. The Kazakh language must stand alongside global languages and become part of the worldwide dialogue. This new building will serve as a hub of ideas, achievements, and opportunities for young people,” he stated. He also stressed that the university’s strategic development plan includes strengthening its material and technical base as well as infrastructure to ensure comfortable learning conditions. In the near future, another modern academic building is planned to be constructed in one of Shymkent’s new districts — another step towards creating an innovative educational environment. Students of the university noted that the new building has already become a “second home,” where they can not only study but also pursue research and creative initiatives. Students of the Faculty of World Languages, Kausar Bestibek and Makhinur Anarmetova, shared their impressions: 💬 “This building is a great source of inspiration. All conditions have been created here for in-depth language learning, communication, and professional growth. We are proud that such modern opportunities have been introduced at Tashenev University. We are confident that this will help us become competitive specialists in the future.”
