"Shymkent – city of tulips" international artists' symposium

On July 22, 2025, the city of Shymkent hosted the "Shymkent – City of Tulips" International Artists' Symposium at the A. Pushkin City Universal Library. This significant cultural event is being held for the first time from June 18 to 22, organized by the Shymkent City Administration in honor of City Day.  

The international symposium brought together 16 talented artists from various regions of Kazakhstan, as well as from Turkey (Antalya), Kyrgyzstan (Bishkek), Tajikistan (Dushanbe), the Russian Federation (Kazan), and Uzbekistan. On this historic occasion, faculty members and students from the “Design” Department of Zhe.A. Tashenov University had the opportunity to participate, build creative connections, and exchange experiences with artists and representatives from the cultural and intellectual spheres.
