Interior Lighting Environment: Learning to Create Atmosphere

On October 1, first- and second-year Interior Design students from the Department of Design and Fashion attended a master class entitled “Interior Lighting Environment,” held at the Creative Industry Hub.

The participants explored the role of lighting in shaping interior spaces, moods, and styles. They also learned about different types of lighting, colour temperature, and the principles of effective lighting design.

The practical format of the master class enabled the students to broaden their professional knowledge and view lighting from a new perspective—as an essential tool for designers.

Light is more than just functionality. It creates the atmosphere, mood, and character of a space.
