Tashenev University and China-SCO: A New Stage of International Partnership

On June 11, 2026 as part of Zhanar Rysbekova Vice-Rector’s official visit to the People’s Republic of China a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between Tashenev University and Tianjin University of Technology and Education within the framework of China-SCO Center for Cooperation in Vocational and Technical Education.

The Memorandum signing marks an important milestone in international development strategy of Tashenev University. China’s higher education system is widely recognized as one of the most competitive in the world, with a highly selective approach to international collaboration. Therefore, establishing sustainable and productive cooperation with leading Chinese higher education institutions reflects the University’s consistent efforts to strengthen its global academic engagement and expand its international partnerships.

The partnership established through China-SCO Center opens new opportunities for students, faculty members and researchers of Tashenev University. Areas of cooperation include academic exchanges for faculty and researchers, development and implementation of joint research projects, student mobility programs, organization of international conferences, as well as exchange of academic information, research publications and scholarly materials.

This Memorandum further strengthens Tashenev University’s position within the global academic community and provides a solid foundation for implementation of joint educational and research initiatives within the network of universities of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).
