Zubaida Kerimbaevna Kerimbaeva conducted an open lesson in the course “Global Perspectives in Education” on the topic “International Systems for Assessing the Quality of Education.”

In accordance with the academic and methodological work plan, on April 10, Zubaida Kerimbaevna Kerimbaeva, Candidate of Philological Sciences and Associate Professor of the Department of Preschool and Primary Education, Faculty of Pedagogical and Humanitarian Education at J.A. Tashenev University JSC, conducted an open lecture for students of the PIK-24-5k1,2,3,4 academic groups within the course “Global Perspectives in Education” on the topic “International Systems for Assessing Educational Quality”.
During the lecture, the major international systems for assessing educational quality, their objectives, and distinctive features were examined. Particular attention was given to a comprehensive analysis of internationally recognized assessment programs, including PISA, TIMSS, and PIRLS, which are designed to evaluate students’ educational achievements. The lecture also addressed contemporary approaches to educational quality assessment, international best practices, and their role in improving national education systems.
Students actively participated in the discussion, expressed their views on the topic, and analyzed the advantages and specific characteristics of international assessment frameworks.
The open lecture was attended by the Head of the Department, PhD and Senior Lecturer G.O. Amirova; Lecturer with a Master's degree Asel Tamabay; Lecturer with a Master's degree G.B. Zhorayeva; and Lecturer with a Master's degree A.T. Mirzakulova.
Following the lecture, PhD and Senior Lecturer G.O. Amirova, Head of the Department, highly appreciated the session, emphasizing its strong methodological foundation, the effective use of modern teaching methods and educational technologies by the instructor, and the active engagement of students throughout the class. The open lecture was informative and well-structured, and all intended learning objectives were successfully achieved.
