On November 13, 2025, B.A. Ayapova, Master of Pedagogical Sciences and Senior Lecturer of the Department, conducted an open lesson for the PIK 23-6k study group within the course “Methodology of Teaching Arts and Crafts in Preschool Institutions” on the topic “Characteristics of Materials and Work Activities, Product Manufacturing Technology, and Methods of Working with Paper.”
The objectives and content of the lesson were carefully planned in accordance with the course syllabus and focused on achieving the intended learning outcomes. Theoretical knowledge and practical activities were effectively integrated, creating favorable conditions for the development of students’ professional competencies.
During the lesson, the lecturer provided comprehensive information about the types of materials used in arts and crafts activities, their properties, methods of working with paper, and the step-by-step technology of producing various handmade items. Interactive teaching methods and practical tasks were used to increase student engagement and participation.
Presentation materials, visual aids, and practical demonstrations were actively employed throughout the lesson. Effective dialogue was established with the students, and each activity was analyzed and discussed. Techniques such as paper folding, cutting, tearing, and gluing were demonstrated in practice, helping students develop essential practical and creative skills.
Associate Professor Z.K. Kerimbayeva, in her evaluation of the open lesson, highlighted its strong methodological foundation and well-organized structure. The students’ active participation, level of mastery of the learning material, and overall interest in the lesson were highly appreciated.
Special attention was given to the lecturer’s professional expertise, comprehensive explanation of the material, and effective organization of practical activities, all of which contributed significantly to the quality of the lesson. The open lesson was conducted in full compliance with the methodological standards of higher education institutions.
