On April 28, 2026, at 15:00, Professor of the department, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Nurlan Sairamovich Imanbaev, conducted a scientific seminar for the faculty and students on the topic: “The spectral problem for the Sturm–Liouville operator generated by an initial-boundary value problem with respect to the time derivative for a parabolic-type equation.”

The seminar was attended by the Director of the Institute of “Pedagogical and Natural Sciences,” Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor (Acting) Zh.Sh. Arzymbetova, as well as an invited guest — Senior Lecturer of the Department of Mathematics at M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University, PhD E.B. Musirepova, and leading scientists of the department: Candidate of Technical Sciences S.A. Zholdasov and Associate Professor, PhD S.A. Pazylbek.

In the scientific report, issues of reducing the spectral problem arising from the heat conduction equation to an initial-boundary value problem with a time derivative were formulated, and the basis properties of a repeatedly differentiable operator with a spectral parameter in the boundary conditions were also investigated.
