A center for Uzbek language and culture was opened in the Shymkent region of Kazakhstan
A center for Uzbek language and culture has opened at Zhumabek Tashenov University in Shymkent, Kazakhstan.

It began to work on the basis of a Memorandum of Cooperation concluded between this university and the Andijan State Pedagogical Institute.
It should be said that the university prepares bachelors and masters under the program “Teachers of Uzbek language and literature.”
As part of the international scientific and practical conference dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the founding of the university, the opening ceremony of the Center for Uzbek Language and Culture took place.
It was attended by a delegation of representatives of higher educational institutions of Uzbekistan, headed by the rector of the Andijan State Pedagogical Institute Bakhtiyor Rasulov.
The Kazakh side expressed gratitude to the leadership of the Andijan State Pedagogical Institute and the Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature, who made a worthy contribution to the creation of the Center for Uzbek Language and Culture.
Speakers at the event noted that the opening of this center will enrich relations between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan in the field of education and culture, which are expected to reach a new level from a qualitative point of view, with practical content.
As noted, the center allows for widespread promotion of the national culture, literature and traditions of Uzbekistan.
