We gain experience working in the club

Recently, a regular meeting of the student scientific club "Femida" of the University "Syrdarіya" was held. We helped to organize the club.
At this meeting, on March 19, 2021, we saw a theatrical performance by four international lawyers. Each group performed with their own scenes. We do not realize how important it is for us in our daily lives to know the civil law of the Republic of Kazakhstan, because we all face situations where ignorance of our personal rights puts us in a difficult situation, and even leads to easy deception.
What do our attentive students do? They showed how to behave in everyday examples. There are times in our lives when we have to spend the night in a hotel at least once. Did you notice the announcement "Administration is not responsible for the loss of guests' property" when you enter the hotel or in the hall? One of these simple examples is that we did not know the Law, so we made it true, and this information is for those who do not really know the Law. Here's another example: When we come home with our favorite suit in an expensive boutique and our wallet is completely empty, we realize that in a different light in another house, it doesn't suit us at all. When we return to this boutique, we come across another important scene with a sign that says "Things cannot be returned or exchanged", and then we return home with a sad look. Here, our students have shown that these stores have no basis, and under our civil law, we, as buyers, have the right to return or exchange the item within fourteen days. The second-year students also showed us an example of the responsibilities and obligations of both parties to the purchase: the buyer and the seller, who then guaranteed the return of the item. It is very common for each of us to leave a warranty for a certain period of time when we buy something, and when we return to buy something that we value, we are told that the item has been sold. In the best case, we were returned the amount of the bail, and in the worst case, they said they saw us for the first time.
Thus, our experienced and respected teachers Torebayeva AS and Ikhlasova M.Zh. The participants knew that we had to return the two accrued amounts of the deposit, but at the same time, we should always request any type of document indicating the amount of the deposit.
Summing up our last meeting. We have once again realized that it is important to know our legal rights with the help of Themis Club and help to overcome the failures of everyday life and protect the interests and legal rights of citizens in the future. Another thing to note is that we have seen from afar that we hope that in the future the members of the club will be able to provide legal advice (civil, criminal, administrative, etc.) to ordinary people!
