The department trains specialists in 5B010600 - "Musical education"
The department "Music education" was founded in 1996, prepares teachers for the subjects of music fundamentals.
The first Head of the Department of Culture is a winner, Professor Isa Bori.
From 2001 to 2004 the department was headed by Ph.D. Utesheva Alia Zhalelovna, then, from 2004 to 2005, the winner of Culture, Assistant Professor Baybalanova Meruert Aldibekovna currently manages the Department of Culture laureate, an honorary citizen Maktaaral area Bory Isa.

The department has 16 teachers, among them: the doctor of pedagogical sciences, professor R.Sh.Sydykova, Ph.D., associate A.Zh.Utesheva, B.S.Utemuratova, A.Sh.Kozhahmetova, winner of Culture, Professor Isa Bori, University lecturers - O.P.Pushpanov, A.Sh.Alimova, R.K.Dildabekova, T.S.Avgustanovich, senior teachers - G.Zh.Karakushikova, E.O.Abilbasharov, G.Zh.Barbolova, A.A.Darmensheeva, teachers - K.M.Zholdybaeva, M.M.Shamsullin, M.T. Kuttybaev, A.A., Myrzakhmetova.
The teachers possess all the necessary basic knowledge.
The department "Music education" is fully equipped with all the necessary teaching aids: methodical books, teaching aids, musical instruments and furniture.

Members of the department are methodical and scientific-research work on music education and musicology. In parallel with this scientific work is conducted with the students.
Employees of the department released a large amount of training, educational materials, oriented for credit technology training system, namely, training manuals (syllabuses), subject manuals, collections of lectures benefits as electronic textbooks, etc.
Employees of the department "Music education" work hard in the training of future qualified specialists in the field of culture and education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
