Lifelong learning - new opportunities for Kazakhstanis

Continuous learning, which has become a current trend in recent decades, increases the competitiveness of people through the development of intelligence, structural thinking, ability to adapt and self-organize, expanding the circle of acquaintances, opportunities and ideas about the world, and improving psychological health.
The concept of lifelong learning is relevant and important for Kazakhstanis. As part of the implementation of this concept, a wide range of new opportunities and prospects will open up for the teaching staff and staff of the Zhumabek Akhmetuly Tashenev University, which will contribute to personal growth and professional development. Rapidly developing industries and updating the regulatory field require them to constantly update their knowledge and skills. Determines the goals, objectives and main ways to effectively change the structure and content of all levels and forms of education to optimally ensure lifelong learning.
The goal of lifelong education is to create a system of lifelong education that provides formal, non-formal and information training of the country's population in order to increase its competitiveness and basic competencies to the level of countries belonging to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development. The implementation of the concept makes it possible to ensure continuity of different levels of education, integration of formal, informal and information education, expand access to the profession through flexible means of recognizing learning results and qualifications, and increase labor mobility of the population. .
In order to further support initiatives for self-realization, professional and personal growth of employees of the Zhumabek Akhmetuly Tashenev University in Astana, under the organization of the Ministry of Science and Education, a training course “Leadership in Education” was held for heads of educational institutions of higher education among educational institutions. The educational course is focused on the formation of leadership ideas and approaches, the creation of new technologies for educational leadership, the development of a vision of the future, problem solving with a result orientation and mutual support. In addition, with the support of the Committee of Higher and Postgraduate Education of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, within the framework of the project “Modernization of Secondary Education”, teachers of the Zhumabek Akhmetuly Tashenev University take part in the training course “Modernization of Pedagogical Education” in online and offline format.
In modern society, the basic level of education is only the basis of professional activity. If we don't continually upskill, skills will become irrelevant.
