On March 26, 2026, the AQYL TECH / IT AIEL SHYMKENT 2026 conference-workshop was held at Tashenev University. The event served as a professional platform for discussing key issues in artificial intelligence, digitalization, and human capital development.

The conference brought together representatives of government bodies, experts, IT professionals, entrepreneurs, startup founders, and students. Participants discussed the formation of a new model of the education system in the context of technological transformation.

“The development of artificial intelligence is a strategic priority for the higher education system. Such platforms strengthen the connection between education and industry and contribute to training a new generation of competitive specialists,” said the Vice Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Dinara Shcheglova.

The conference program covered the following key tracks:

  • integration of artificial intelligence into educational programs
  • development of competencies required for the digital economy
  • development of the startup ecosystem and support for technological entrepreneurship
  • EdTech and innovative learning models
  • increasing the role of women in IT

  • agreements were reached on the implementation of joint initiatives and projects
