Gabit Mukanov: "Building a just Kazakhstan is possible only through the observance of law and order"

Shymkent City Prosecutor Gabit Mukhanov held an informal meeting with active students of the Tashenev University, including participants of the Tashenev Tartuy project and holders of state grants. In an open dialogue platform, students asked their questions, made suggestions on the development of legal culture, safety and civic responsibility of youth.

The Prosecutor noted that the concept of "Law and Order", voiced by the Head of State, is a key principle on the way to building a just Kazakhstan. He also called on young people to work together to combat current threats such as drug trafficking, fraud and online fraud.

"Youth is not only the future of our country, but also the driving force of the present. Your respect for law and order, and active citizenship are the foundation of a New Kazakhstan. We must act together and counter the threats that young people face – drugs, fraud and other crimes," the city prosecutor said.

During the meeting, Onalbai Ayashev, Chairman of the University's Board, and Kanat Baibolov, Rector, presented the development strategy of Tashenov University and talked about new initiatives to improve the quality of education and create an innovative ecosystem.

 The opinion of the students was also of particular importance.

Altynshash Usenbai, a 2nd year student:

"Such open meetings give us confidence. This is an opportunity to freely express your opinion and directly hear the prosecutor's position. This demonstrates the existence of a real dialogue between the state and the youth," she said.

One of the most interesting topics for students was the possibility of professional internship in the prosecutor's office. Answering this question, Gabit Mukanov noted:

"We are always ready to accept hardworking and motivated students to practice at the Shymkent city Prosecutor's Office. This is an invaluable experience. We are ready to teach practical skills not only to law students, but also to representatives of IT, economics, finance and other fields," he stressed.

Timur Kazmin, the Student Ombudsman of Shymkent City, noted in his speech that the legal environment at Tashenev University is developing in a positive way, and student appeals and suggestions are receiving prompt response. He also proposed to create a permanent working group aimed at solving problems in the region's universities.

During the visit, Gabit Kasymbekovich got acquainted with the university's educational infrastructure — the main academic building, the Artificial Intelligence Center, and a 24-hour coworking center.

At the Artificial Intelligence Center, the prosecutor proposed developing joint intonation technologies to combat new types of crimes, emphasizing the importance of interaction between science and law enforcement.

In addition, the women's club of the university presented the prosecutor with an author's book as a gift, which was another confirmation of the students' social activity and creative potential.

The city Prosecutor highly appreciated the modern development of the educational environment and noted the favorable conditions and opportunities created for students.
