A celebration of fashion, style, and creative art! Students and lecturers from the Department of Design and Fashion presented their work with distinction at the prestigious International DULATY FASHION DAY Festival in Taraz.

The major event brought together leading young designers, recognised masters, and creative-industry innovators from across the region. The talented students represented the university with distinction, demonstrating a deep understanding of tradition, refined aesthetic taste, an individual artistic style, and strong professional preparation.

Thanks to the participants’ skill and the support of their experienced mentors, the department added awards in two major categories to its record of achievement.

In the Decorative and Applied Arts category, third-year student Balnur Dauletbekova took third place and received a cash certificate worth 50,000 tenge. Her supervisor was B.F. Rakhimova.

In the Fashion and Costume Design category, fourth-year student Ayauym Yessenbek took third place and received a prize of 200,000 tenge. Her supervisor was K.S. Assilova.

The Department of Design and Fashion is proud of its students’ achievements. This result reflects the quality of their preparation, the support provided for creative initiatives, and the systematic work undertaken to unlock every student’s potential.
