ZH.A. TASHENEV UNIVERSITY STUDENTS ACHIEVE SUCCESS IN RESEARCH PROJECT AND BUSINESS IDEA COMPETITIONS

INTERNATIONAL RESEARCH PAPERS AND PROJECTS COMPETITION

From 28 to 31 October 2026, faculty members of the Department of Economics and Management, together with second-year students Aida Baibol and Asylai Ushkempir from the 6B04103 Economics, 6B04102 Finance, and 6B04101 Accounting and Auditing educational programmes, participated in the “Business of the Independent Generation: Implementing New Business Ideas” competition organised by the Shymkent Youth Policy Centre. They presented a project entitled “Ethno Tour – Welcome to Shymkent!”

The students received letters of appreciation for their active participation in the competition. Their academic supervisor, Zulparuza Amirbekovna Abdurakhmanova, a master’s degree holder and senior lecturer, also received a letter of appreciation.

In addition, second-year student Myrsultan Mirsagatov participated in the national “Best Student” competition held in Astana by the Bilim Orkeniet National Innovative Research Centre to mark the 35th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The competition supported creative ideas and new initiatives aimed at developing youth policy. Myrsultan Mirsagatov became a winner and received a first-degree diploma. His academic supervisor was Almara Yerkinovna Nauryzbekova, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Law, Candidate of Economic Sciences, and Senior Lecturer.

The purpose of the competition was to provide state support for new ideas and initiatives that contribute to forming an active and creative youth community and help young people implement their ideas.

Student participation in competitions, academic olympiads, and conferences encourages self-development and creative exploration, fosters a genuine interest in science and learning, strengthens the knowledge and skills gained through core professional disciplines, and supports the implementation of new business ideas and entrepreneurial initiatives in Kazakhstan.
