A.S. Arysbaeva, Master’s Degree Holder and Senior Lecturer of the Department of Mathematics and Physics, conducted an open lesson on 2 October 2026 at 12:30 in Classroom №204B on the topic «Fundamentals of Working with the Windows Operating System» within the discipline «Operating Systems» for the academic groups 1517-25қ1 and 1517-25қ2 of the educational program 6B01517 – Informatics (ІР).

The objective of the lesson was to familiarize students with the main interface elements of the Windows operating system and to develop practical skills in managing files and folders on a computer.

Mastering this topic contributes to students’ transition from the level of a «computer user» to the level of independently performing educational and professional tasks in a digital environment.

These skills are particularly important for future teachers, as proficiency in the Windows operating system enables them to:

- develop digital educational materials;

- create interactive learning activities;

- use electronic gradebooks and educational platforms;

- create presentations and video materials;

- receive, organize, and process students’ digital assignments;

- integrate digital educational resources into the learning process.

As a result of mastering the topic, students are able to effectively use the main interface elements of the Windows operating system, organize files and folders, launch and manage application programs, configure basic system settings, ensure the secure storage of information, and independently perform educational and professional tasks in the Windows environment.
