On November 24-27, the Syrdariya University (Republic of Kazakhstan) hosts the International Forum “30 Years of Independence: New Digital Era - Increasing the Efficiency of the National Development System”. The rector of Omsk State Pedagogical University Ivan Ivanovich Krott took part in the forum. “Russia and Kazakhstan are bound by strong traditions of friendship and mutual assistance, which have always been carefully preserved by our peoples and passed down from generation to generation. Largely thanks to this, Russian-Kazakh relations have reached the level of true strategic partnership and alliance today, ”Ivan Ivanovich noted.
The forum is dedicated to discussing topical issues: the development of interuniversity cooperation, the formation of a professional community, the creation of an international dialogue platform on issues of quality assurance in education, as well as the impact of digitalization on the learning process.
“Digitalization, the transition in one format or another to the remote mode of organizing the educational process should be accompanied by a change in the culture of a person, teacher, student. In the digital ecosystem, we must emphasize that the university is an open integration platform for long-term mutually beneficial cooperation of students, teachers, researchers, industrial partners, and authorities. In this environment, the student and the teacher act as partners, and this is clearly a different format of interaction. And it's time for all of us to go over to it now, ”Ivan Ivanovich emphasized.
Note that the acting rector of the "Syrdariya" University Bakyt Salmanovich Tokmurzayev is a graduate of our university. In 2016, he successfully defended his Ph.D. thesis on "Agrarian colonization of the Steppe region in the imperial project and practices of the second half of the 19th - early 20th centuries."
