On June 5, 2024, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan published a draft list of domestic higher educational institutions participating in the state educational grant for the 2024-2025 academic year of higher education. The university named after Zhumabek Tashenev, which is included in the mentioned list, participates in the grant competition for bachelor's and master's degrees on the basis of all educational programs.
