Dialogue between education and business: creation of a Light Industry Industry Alliance As part of the implementation of the state policy on the development of interaction between education and the real sector of the economy, Tashenev University took part in the creation of the Light Industry Industry Alliance. In accordance with the joint order of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated August 28, 2025 No. 437 and the Minister of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated August 21, 2025 No. 187, as well as the approved Roadmap for the creation and development of Alliances in economic sectors for 2025-2027, work has begun in Shymkent on the formation of sectoral alliances. between educational organizations and enterprises. On January 9, 2026, in the building of the Atameken Chamber of Entrepreneurs in Shymkent, a meeting was held with representatives of light industry and shoe manufacturing enterprises, as well as with heads of production work at higher educational institutions and colleges. From the University named after J.A. Tashenev, the event was attended by: • Head of the Department of Design and Fashion, I.S. Kim; • Associate Professor of the Department of Design and Fashion, V.M. Dzhanpaizova. • senior lecturer of the department "Design and Fashion" Rakhmankulova Zh.A.; • Baytelieva Zh.E. director of Creative Industry LLP — organizer of the event. The meeting was organized with the support of the Atameken Chamber of Entrepreneurs in Shymkent. During the event, the participants discussed the goals and objectives of creating an industry alliance, issues of developing mutually beneficial cooperation between educational organizations and enterprises, as well as current areas of personnel training, the introduction of dual education and strengthening the practical orientation of educational programs. The creation of the Light Industry Industry Alliance will make it possible to build a stable system of interaction between educational institutions and the business community, ensure the training of competitive specialists and improve the compliance of educational programs with the requirements of the labor market. Tashenev University expresses its readiness for further active participation in the implementation of initiatives to develop industry alliances and strengthen partnerships with light industry enterprises.
