Mission of the Department of World Languages

The mission of the Department of World Languages is to train competitive, highly qualified specialists in foreign languages who are capable of working effectively in modern educational environments, applying innovative teaching methods, and engaging in research activities. The department aims to develop multilingual and culturally open professionals prepared for continuous growth and international collaboration.

The Department of World Languages is part of the Institute of World Languages.
The Head of the Department is Dr. Fazila Artykbayeva (PhD).

The department’s teaching staff is distinguished by strong professional expertise. All instructors hold relevant higher education degrees. The team is continually strengthened by candidates of sciences, Doctors of Philosophy (PhD), master-level instructors, and outstanding graduates of the country’s leading universities.

Program Goal:
To prepare future teachers who confidently master one or two foreign languages, understand teaching methodology and student psychology, and are ready to work effectively in schools and other educational institutions. Students gain practical skills, complete teaching practicum, and learn to use modern instructional technologies.
