Tashenev University Included in the UI GreenMetric World University Rankings 2025

Tashenev University has been officially included in the UI GreenMetric World University Rankings 2025, a leading international ranking that evaluates universities based on their commitment to sustainable development, environmental responsibility and social impact.

According to the 2025 results, Tashenev University ranked 1693rd worldwide and 28th among higher education institutions in the Republic of Kazakhstan, joining 1,745 universities from 105 countries recognized for systematically integrating sustainability principles into education, research, and institutional governance: https://greenmetric.ui.ac.id/rankings/overall-rankings-2025

UI GreenMetric is the world’s first university ranking dedicated exclusively to sustainability. Universities are assessed across six core areas, including campus infrastructure and setting, energy and climate change, waste management, water resources, transportation systems, as well as education and research related to sustainability.

In 2025 the ranking recorded a significant increase in global participation, underscoring the growing role of higher education institutions in advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Tashenev University’s inclusion reflects its alignment with international sustainability standards and its active engagement in the global academic community.
