Scholarship

The issue of social support for students and staff of the "Syrdariуa" University is always under the special attention of the university administration. In accordance with the "Regulations on discounts on tuition for students entering the university on a paid basis," a number of financial benefits are provided for students studying at a paid department. Winners and prize-winners of regional, republican rounds of Republican Olympiads and competitions of scientific projects in the profile disciplines of the educational program, students with high sports achievements, are given discounts on tuition fees up to 15%, 20%, 50%, 100%. This is evidenced by the fact that in the 2020-2021 academic year, 4 students who scored 100 or more points on the UNT were awarded grants from the university on the basis of the decision of the Academic Council of the «Syrdariya» University (protocol No. 1 of August 28, 2020).

1. Kasymbek Nurzhigit Zhanmukhamedovich - a graduate of the Almaty Republican School "Zhas Ulan" named after B. Momyshuly.
2. Tugalova Sarvinoz Tugalbaevna - a graduate of school №44 "Zhana Dala".
3. Meirbek Dana Myrzabaevna - a graduate of the school-gymnasium №6 named after B. Momyshuly.
4. Tursyn Kobei Zhainarbekovich - a graduate of secondary school №30 named after S. Toraigyrov.

Currently, 1 student is studying at the university on a state educational grant, 2 students with a presidential scholarship, 4 students are holders of the rector's grant, 4 students in the direction of the regional akim, 7 students with a 50% discount, 18 students with a 20% discount, 51 students with a discount 10 %.

The amount of the scholarship at the university is 26186 tenge and corresponds to the amount established in the draft order of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On the introduction of the Rules for the appointment, payment and size of state scholarships to students in educational institutions" (PDF).
