The meeting with a U.S. diplomat provided participants with a unique opportunity to learn more about American culture and educational opportunities in the United States.
The American Corner of Shymkent, supported by the U.S. Embassy and based at the A. S. Guests learned about the city’s main attractions, the unique features of the state of Illinois, and Chicago’s role as one of the leading educational, economic, and cultural centers of the United States.
Special attention was given to opportunities available for students and faculty members, including participation in educational programs, academic exchange opportunities, international cooperation projects, and professional development initiatives.
