On April 14, 2025, a methodological seminar on "Family and Modernity: Teaching Methods and Modern Approaches" was held by the Department of History and Geography.
At the seminar, Master of Science (MSc) and Senior Lecturer S.Zh. Duisenbek shared his methods on the topic "Family and Modernity: Teaching Methods and Modern Approaches." Lecturer R.K. Duisenova shared her methods on the topic "Anthropogenic Factors Affecting Natural Complexes. Ways to Improve Anthropogenic Landscapes." Master of Science (MSc) and Senior Lecturer S.S. Taubayev shared her methods on the topic "Characteristics of Education for 21st-Century Generations." N.M. Mominkul shared her methods on the topic "Digital Methodological Tools for Teachers."
During the methodological seminar, teachers learned about the use of modern digital tools in the teaching process and their effectiveness. The seminar discussed the importance of platforms such as virtual museums, Padlet, Wordwall, and Marq in the learning process. These tools increase student engagement and enable a deeper understanding of the learning material.
Advantages of the platforms used:
1. Virtual museums: introduce students to real historical events and cultural heritage.
2. Padlet: Promotes teamwork and the exchange of ideas.
3. The Marq platform allows you to create quizzes by inserting links to e-books, videos, and other content from various platforms.
At the end of the seminar, participants shared their opinions and made suggestions for the practical application of the new tools. This type of methodological seminar significantly contributed to the development of teachers' digital competence.
