Open Curatorial Hour: Focus on Spiritual and Moral Values

A successful Curatorial Hour dedicated to the issues of Spiritual and Moral Values was recently held at the Department of Russian and Uzbek Languages.
The event involved 3rd-year students of the specialty 6B01702 – Training of Teachers of Russian Language and Literature, under the guidance of curator Zhumabayeva Gulmira Rahmatullayevna.
Achieved Outcomes
The main objective of the event—stimulating a reflective understanding of fundamental moral and ethical categories—was fully achieved.
The following results were recorded following the Curatorial Hour:
- Value Systematization: Students formed a clear understanding of the hierarchy of spiritual and moral values (responsibility, honesty, respect, patriotism) in the context of their professional future.
- Enhanced Ethical Awareness: The awareness of future educators regarding the critical importance of academic integrity and professional ethics as basic principles of their activities was raised.
- Mission Definition: Participants identified and embraced their key role as subjects of socio-cultural and moral transmission for the younger generation.
Conclusion
The event confirmed the effectiveness of including a moral and educational component in the training process of pedagogical staff. The result was the strengthening of the students' moral and ethical foundation and an increase in their readiness to fulfill both the educational and upbringing missions.
